RSV shot

Lauren received her 2nd synagis shot on Wednesday, Dec. 7th. Home Health Care comes to our house to give these shots once a month which is really nice. They have to weigh her in order to know how much to give her. She weighed 13lbs 5oz that day. I couldn't believe how big she was.

We were originally approved for one shot but our doctor and nurses had to argue and argue with the insurance company and we finally got her approved for all 5 doses. It came down to her being on oxygen when she was born. Since she was, then she qualified for 5 shots. It is crazy because if she would have been born 32 weeks exactly then she would have received 5 shots but she was 32 weeks, 2 days. The 2 days was just enough to not qualify for 5 doses at first. Thank goodness for a great doctor and staff!!
