Watch out for flying deere

Marty was on his way to work on Tuesday, Jan. 3rd when a car coming from the opposite direction hit a deer and sent it through his windshield. This was a very scary moment as part of the deer ended up in his lap. He later found out that his truck had split the deer in half so only the back half came through his windshield and cab. He walked away with a broken nose and a concussion but not hurt severely. His truck, however, did not turn out so well. It was totaled out. He was able to keep the head and rack of the deer. He is having it mounted European style.

We spent the next few weeks looking for a new truck. We ended up finding the one we bought in Sac City. It is a 2008 and used but for the most part in good condition. He is in love with it so that is all that matters!
