Christmas

This year we went to Heather & Mike's for Christmas with Marty's side of the family. This was a first since normally Robyn & Paul host. I am sure it was a nice break for Robyn and Paul. I think we are hosting next year. There was plenty of food and fun. We also received some nice gifts. The highlight for our family was receiving a portrait of Lauren that was drawn by Lizzy. She did a great job!

Christmas with Jill's family was on Sunday at Grandma & Grandpa Claiborne's house. This is when everyone could get together. We did the annual men's and women's grab bag gift. It is always fun to see what people bring. I came home with a chip and dip plate and Marty received a socket set. The guys kept stealing from each other so it took a while but they finally all received a gift.

We had Christmas with Jill's grandma Helene on Christmas Eve day. Patrice still fills the stockings each year and she organizes reindeer games (Bingo) for everyone to play. We also draw names for this Christmas. Carl  bought Jill a nice Under Armour sweatshirt. Patrice bought Marty an Under Armour tshirt and Nike sweatpants.

Lauren still didn't act too interested in gift opening. She did open a few but she would rather play with the wrapping and boxes. This year we had a very nice Christmas at all three locations.
