We had to take Lauren back for a second hearing test because she failed her first one. We went to the Johnston AEA location this time instead of Indianola. On the first one her left ear failed because it had fluid behind it. This time both ears failed and had fluid behind them. Since we were both off today we decided to schedule an appointment with Lauren's doctor and she said neither ear had an infection which is good. The doctors are keeping an eye on the hearing tests because she has failed and she is not talking much. Our doctor has now referred us to an ENT to get this checked out. Our doctor doesn't want this to cause speech issues and this is a critical time for her to hear and talk. We see the ENT next week.
