Marty finished his Master's program through Drake on Saturday. We are so proud and excited for him. He had to go in for 3 hours on Saturday to turn in his final stuff but then he was finished. Later that evening we had a party for him and Bibs. Bibs finished his Master's program from Morningside this summer as well. What great accomplishments!! The party was in our garage and backyard but it was very hot out so some of the people hung out inside. After the kids went to bed, the party moved over to the Mitchell's backyard so hopefully the kids would sleep. A lot of family, friends and neighbors showed up. It was a great turnout and the guys had a great time.
While Marty was in class we decided to take the kids swimming in Indianola. They have a lot of fun toys for kids and two big water slides for the big kids at heart. Lauren had a blast of course. I also enjoyed myself and actually went down both water slides.
